i think it’s interesting how oftentimes, caution signs are placed in the center of a damp or perilous area. yet, you can’t tell how close or big the damp area is until you walk in it and almost slip.

វ៉ែនតាការពារកម្តៅថ្ងៃ sunglasses.
my partner gifted me these glasses some time ago and they’re one of my most frequent pairs. i enjoy wearing sunglasses because they not only shade my eyes from the sun, but they add volume to my hair.

សិល្បៈជញ្ជាំង wall art.
i noticed this branch-like artwork on the titan gym and thought it looked abstract and cool. the other pieces around it also look like letters, but interestingly they don’t spell anything.

ចំណុចទាញទ្វារ door handle.
i’ve seen this handle being used for push and pull doors. It’s always fun seeing someone mix them up and do the opposite of the door’s function, like pushing when it’s a pull door.

វាំងននបង្អួច window blinds.
after taking this picture, i see a resemblance between window blinds and video game company logos. these blinds remind me of ea games, how about you?

ជញ្ជាំងឥដ្ឋ brick wall.
i felt like playing an old game from one of my childhood shows, team umizoomi, where you play hide and seek with one of the protagonists. she’d hide around the city and you’d click different areas of the screen or use her clues to find her hiding spot.

បណ្ណាល័យប៉ូឡាក pollak library.
i noticed these also look like number nines. i didn’t realize how close the number 9 and the letter g are in design until now.

ដៃអាវអាវធំ jacket sleeve.
one of the thread seams of one of my jackets. I like wearing this jacket often since it makes me seem more stylish than i am. also, the design seems like something trendy in the 80s or 90s.

កោណ cone.
this cone oddly reminds me of a character you might see from the pixar film, monsters Inc. maybe it’s because it looks like the top dot is an eye?

បំពង់ពន្លត់អគ្គីភ័យ fire hydrant.
i’ve always liked seeing fire hydrants as a symbol in photography. although this image isn’t exactly professional or storytelling material, the bright yellow color thankfully still jumps out at you like a canary or a computer files tab.

ធ្នើរ shelf.
i purchased this shelf because i needed vertical space in my room and i could customize how big i wanted each row to be, which is perfect if i eventually move things around.

ជ្រុងតុ table corner.
if i accidentally ran into this table without realizing, i think it would be less painful than a classroom table in one of the lecture halls.

កន្លែងហាត់ប្រាណទីតាន titan gym.
some of the trees are blocking the other zig-zag patterns that make up the exterior of the titan gym, but i hope the idea of m gets across.

កៅអី chair.
i prefer chairs without backing so it forces me to sit up straight without having something forcing me to straighten my back. oddly enough, i’ve noticed how much more focused I can get on assignments or tasks in chairs without back support.

ម្ជុល pin.
so many possibilities with the circular letter of the alphabet. in addition to communications, i’m also studying asian american studies at csuf. this pin showcases a little bit of pride in that.

ផ្លូវដែកសុវត្ថិភាព safety rail.
i walk past this intersection everyday at school. yet, I’ve never noticed it. this was a fun spot to discover after four years of attendance.

ឆ័ត្រឈើ wooden umbrella.
i contemplated taking a picture of one of my mugs from an aerial view, but i’d have to wait until i got home for that. i was going to stay at school for a while, so i figured the table slot could also have a similar impact.

ភ្លើងជញ្ជាំង wall light.
i originally planned for this light to represent p. After capturing the picture, i figured it’d look better as r.

ខ្សែក watch.
i struggled the most finding a representative for s. now thinking about it, this image represents samsung so the design suits the letter as much as it matches it.

ចង្កៀងផ្លូវ street lamp.
i was on my way home when i came across the street lights towards the end of campus. It was a cloudy day, but it was still nice to see blue in the sky.

ផ្កា​ទូលីប tulip.
a “thank-you” favor from one of my relatives’ birthday parties. it’s an artificial plant, so it’ll last me a while to remember the celebration.

ខ្សែក necklace.
based on the winnie the pooh films, one of my cousins gifted this necklace to me for my birthday. i wasn’t a huge fan of the films before, but I appreciate it more from my pendant.

ឈុតសក់ hair clip.
i recently purchased this clip as part of a set from dollar tree. i use it to secure stray hair strands for buns and clipping my front bangs from my face.

សម fork.
i was eating at a volunteer event and noticed the fork had a nice shape that would match nicely with this assignment. fun fact: i’m eating ono hawaiian bbq.

មែកឈើ tree branches.
there’s a popular japanese floral artwork that I always see either on tablecloths or tapestries that reminds me of these branches.

ស្ទូចក្រដាស paper crane.
my brother-in-law gifted these earrings to me after seeing me scoping them out at a gift shop in the bay area once.
